Why do you need my previous work to show clients?


Depending on what kind of services you offer there might be different reasons as to why we'd need previous work from you. The largest reason is so that we can match your talents witht he correct clients.

Videographers and Editors

We'll need samples of your work but only for our own viewing during the hiring process. We'll never show any video work that you have done on your own or with other companies for wedding promotions. We will never pass your work off as our own as we have our own style of shooting that all video professionals will be expected to adapt to.

Photographers

Every Photographer has his/her own style. it is very important that we can show your style to potential clients so that we may view and select you as their 1st shooter for the day. By having your work available to show them, it will help to place you with the right clients. We will never use material that you didn't create for Chroma Shake in ads without your written permission. Once you have shot a few projects for us, we will give you back your original samples and use your newest work to promote your services.

Disc Jockey Professionals

We use photos of you and your equipment to show clients. If you have video that is even better. We need to show the clients exactly what they are getting. We'll talk more about this in person. Often the clients may want to speak with you in person before selecting you.

Live Entertainers

If you are a band, a harpest, a quartet, or any other type of wedding performer, we can use your material to make your own web page with to show clients your style and quality of work.

Wedding Planners

It is very important that we have photos and examples of past projects to show the clients. As a professional planner, you know more than anyone how important these things are to set the client's minds at ease. We want them to know they are in the right hands.

Wedding Planners

We are currently seeking one, maybe two wedding planning professionals with experience or an educational background that would make you an important asset to the Chroma Shake team. Must have a firm understanding of budgeting and research skills to provide clients with the best options available to them. We wish to work with all types of budgets, nothing too small or large. Must have a professional attitude and great communication skills. You will often work directly with the clients help them find the best solutions to their every need. Photographers

We are seeking professionals with experience in the wedding industry. We are looking to fill the position of lead photographer and there are a few openings for 1st and 2nd shooters. You must own your own equipment and have an educational background in photography. If you have the experience but no educational background we will still interview you to review your sample work. We shoot in digital formats and professional photo editing knowledge is a plus. Contact us listing your equipment, education, years of experience and a link to your work. If you do not have work online, we can meet with you to view a book. This is a freelance position that may turn to full time. If interested, we have other photo positions as well.
DJ's and Live Entertainers

Please contact us you are interested in doing Dj work. Experience is a must. You must own your own equipment as and song lists as well. We will be buying more songs but for now, you'll need your library. Any entertainers that wish to work with Chroma Shake Productions, contact us with all of your information such as who you are, what you do, how many members your band or act may have and be sure to leave contact information so we can reach you.
Video Professionals

Seeking 1st and 2nd shooters for video projects. If you are interested in shooting other projects aside from just weddings, be sure to mention it to us. We would like to see a reel and an equipment list as well. All wedding videographers must have a 3ccd camera, an on-cam lighting unit, a wireless lavalier, an external microphone for professional audio recording, enough battery power to last a full day, and the ability to shoot in various circumstances. Contact us with your information and experience level for an interview. Must dress well and have experience in wedding video production in order to qualify as one of our wedding vendors. If you are interested in other types of video positions only, see the careers section on the home page. - 2nd cam ops are not required to own wireless microphones, however, it is suggested. -- If you are also a video editor, please mention it in your cover letter.
